Music & Choir

Sacred Music at Holy Ghost is a rich tradition.

We are proud to conserve the sacred music of the medieval, renaissance and classical periods, as well as situate more modern and contemporary compositions within the framework of true worship. Our music program consists of several paid musicians who form the core of this ministry, and several paid musicians and instrumentalists, as well as volunteers, who fill out the ranks of those who lead the congregation in dignified worship of our God through the Mass and our devotional services.

Saturday anticipatory Mass at 4:00 pm: Richard on Organ and Malou as Cantor
Sunday Mass at 7:00 am: No musicians, a few simple chants
Sunday Mass at 8:30 am: Kathryn on Organ and a cantor from the choir
Sunday Mass at 10:00 am: Richard on Organ and the Full Choir or a smaller ensemble selected from the choir (seasonally)
Sunday Mass at 12:00 pm: Richard on Organ and the Full Choir or a smaller ensemble selected from the choir (seasonally)
Sunday Mass at 5:10 pm: Malou on Guitar and as Cantor, and the Contemporary Ensemble (guitar, piano, and other instruments like oboe)
